Passivhaus Principles
How a house should feel.
Designed, engineered and built using the principles of Passivhaus to achieve maximum efficiency and comfort.
Thermal Insulation
A high level of continuous insulation wraps the entire building envelope—under the floor, within the walls, and roof.
This creates an unbroken thermal barrier that isolates the interior from exterior temperatures and eliminates any weak spots for energy loss.
Airtight Envelope
Creating a meticulously sealed, airtight envelope prevents uncontrolled air leakage, stopping drafts and the escape of conditioned air. By sealing the building’s perimeter, you gain complete control over the internal climate, ensuring consistent comfort and radical energy efficiency.
High-performance Glazing
High-performance glazing requires more than just double or triple-paned glass; it demands thermally superior frames as well. This combination allows for large windows that flood spaces with daylight without compromising the building’s thermal integrity or your comfort.
Thermal-bridge Free
A thermal bridge is a conductive element that allows heat to bypass the insulation, connecting the inside to the outside. By strategically breaking these connections, you ensure stable indoor temperatures, reduce energy loss, and prevent moisture issues like mould growth.
Heat Recovery Ventilation
Once the envelope is sealed, a ventilation system provides a constant supply of fresh, filtered air. This technology uses heat from stale exhaust air to warm the incoming fresh air, maintaining a healthy, oxygen-rich environment without compromising temperature.
